Music Director (Acting)

Mr. Felix Yeung 楊欣諾

Felix Yeung is currently a third-year student of the Music department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong . He started taking piano lessons at the age of four , and went on to study organ with organists Peter Yue and Wong Kin Yu. His first experience of musical performance was at the age of five with The Little Singers of Hong Kong conducted by the late Lee Kin Chun. His musical talents began to flourish during his years studying in St. Paul 's College Hong Kong, where under the guidance of his teachers Raymond Fu, Boron Li and Sandy Ng, he was the Conductor of the School Choir and Chinese Orchestra, and the Chairman of the school's Music Union. He has also participated in local productions of famous operas, singing as a chorus member of the Opera Society Hong Kong in Professor Lo King Man's rendition of Verdi's Macbeth in 2003 and Gounod's Faust in 2004. He has also participated in the production of Puccini's La b oh e me with the Welsh National Opera in the 2007 Hong Kong Arts Festival.

Felix Yeung is currently the Acting Music Director of the Hong Kong Youth Choir and has been involved in a lot of the choir's key performances, including the Hong Kong Premiere of John Rutter's Magnificat in 2003, Mass of the Children in 2005, and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Requiem in 2006, as well as the musical Boys & Girls – musical AIDS written by the choir's resident composer Raymond Cheng in 2004. He has collaborated with many local music groups, including the Hong Kong Chamber Choir and the Pro-musica Society of Hong Kong. Felix Yeung is also the Sub-Organist of St. John's Cathedral, the Chairman of the Chung Chi Choir of the Chinese University of Hong Kong , and the Music Director of The CM Singers , a local a cap p ella group.

楊欣諾現為香港中文大學音樂系三年級學生。他自四歲起習鋼琴，然後隨余必達及黃健羭習風琴。楊氏的表演經驗始於他五歲時參與由李建真指揮的香港小天使合唱團。他的音樂才華在香港聖保羅書院接受教育時有更全面的發展。在符潤光老師、李寶龍老師及吳劉寶文老師的指導下他擔任該校合唱團及中樂團指揮，以及音樂聯會主席。他亦以香港歌劇社合唱成員身份參與本地著名歌劇製作，如由盧景文教授製作威爾第的《麥克白》 (2003) 及古諾的《浮士德》 (2004) 。他亦有份參與2007年香港藝術節由威爾斯國立歌劇院所演出普契尼的《波希米亞生涯》。
